TRANSIT BAGS BY ENGEL The extremely popular Engel Transit Bags not only protect your Engel fridge-freezer with a layer of insulation but they also offer a heavy-duty foil layer on the inner side that reflects direct sunlight and long wave radiation. High quality gray canvas outer layer comes with an accessory pocket and vents. The bag covers the entire unit and is easy to open; simply unzip the bag on top. The bags work with the corresponding Transit Slide Locks. Breathing holes are built in to the compressor will not over heat. The Engel Transit Bags work with the corresponding Transit Slide-Locks and are available for Engel model numbers MT17, MT27, MT35, MR040, MT45, MT60, MT60 Combi and MT80. TRANSIT SLIDE-LOCKS BY ENGEL The Transit Slide-Locks by Engel are highly recommended from a safety point of view. They help prevent your Engel fridge-freezer from shifting around in a vehicle or boat. Securely attach your transit slide lock to the vehicle and then simply slide your Engel into position and it locks down automatically. To remove, just push the clip to release. It's that easy! The Slide Locks work with all Engel Transit Bags. Transit Slide-Locks are available for Engel model numbers MT17, MT27, MT35, MT45, MD14F, MHD13F-DM, and MR040F-U1, (with additional cushion attachments on MR040F-U1 only; see below). NOTE: Model number MD14F and MHD13F-DM need both this transit Slide-Lock and a Transit Slide-Lock Mounting Plate (see below) to function; sold separately.
