MAN SHIP 316 STAINLESS STEEL ROUND FIXED PORTHOLE (DEAD LIGHT) The Manship 316 Stainless Steel Round Fixed Porthole is machine rolled and formed frame for durability and strength. Hand polished to a brilliant mirror-like finish. Electro-polishing provides lasting protection against corrosion and rust. Straight Spigot Only. Fasteners not included.

POLISHED CHROME (OVER BRONZE) ROUND FIXED PORTHOLE (DEAD LIGHT) Deadlight has a mirror-like finish. Removable locking ring for easy glass replacement. Designed with heavy duty laminated safety glass. Optional Finish Ring for the reverse side is available for some of the sizes. Finished in Polished Chrome (over Bronze). Fasteners not included.

RECTANGULAR SOLID GLASS DECK PRISMS BY DAVEY & COMPANY From the early 1900s, Davey & Company has been producing a range of Deck Prisms to bring natural light down below to illuminate even the darkest of cabins. Manufactured in England these deck prisms are solid glass with either flat frames, where the glass is rabetted in, or deep frames for thinner decks. In both cases a marine quality black mastic should be used such as a polysulphide or synthetic rubber and to improve adhesion the glass should be abraded first where the sealant touches. Finished in Gun Metal Bronze, Chrome Plated or Stainless Steel frames. Fasteners not included.

Prisms are available in three (3) sizes, with two (2) styles of frames. Deep Frame, suitable for thinner decks, or Flat Frame, for when the glass is rabetted into a thicker deck first. Kit includes solid glass prism and frame.

DEEP FRAME DECK PRISM KITS The style of this prism is ideal for thinner decks such as steel, aluminum or fiberglass. The frame is fixed to the deck first and the glass is then set into the frame from the top using a good quality marine mastic.

FLAT FRAME/RABETTED DECK PRISM KITS In this style, the glass is set first into the deck using a marine quality mastic and then a flat frame is positioned over the rim of the glass and screwed down. This is only suitable where there is sufficient depth of wood to support the weight of anyone walking on it.
